Delightful house with wonderful staff. It wasn't fancy but it was clean and cozy. The communal kitchen used an honor system for basic foods like milk, tea, cereal, etc. We only stayed one night, but I'd go back in a second. The view of the water was lovely from our second story window.
Friendly Staff, big kitchen, lovely view over the harbour of Oban from our room, the parking spots are actually just free if you arrive at 6pm or later and you need to leave before 9 or 10am, after that you gotta pay a small amount. Showers are big and got good water pressure, rooms are clean and beds are comfy. Loved staying there :-)

This evening we visited both the hotel's restaurant BAAB and the hotel.bar Brew and co, both experiences were great, friendly staff in both places. A special mention to the man behind the bar in Brew & co, he was incredibly pleasant he appeared to know so much about the drinks he was making. In conclusion a fantastic bar and restaurant.
Very friendly staff! I got free chocolate with a card for my 40th Birthday. My husband told them ahead of time. I will say it makes for a noisy night because we experience drunks talking and laughing loudly until 3:30am! Luckily we were so tired we kept sleeping though it on and off. Clean rooms. The elevator made a serious grinding noise when you used it and we noticed staff.

Hotel room was comfortable & clean. Close to the town and easy access to the local attractions. Breakfast was good. Had a nice view from our room. Would definitely stay again.
Good sized friendly hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Jacuzzi baths with underwater coloured lighting were very popular with the ladies in our group. Breakfast was excellent.

This place was packed but could sit right away and once we ordered, the food came back. Their veggie burger was pretty good, not extraordinary. Service wasn't the greatest when it was busy but lots of seating inside and out.
Very friendly waiters, excellent food quality. They were very kind to us and our dog and the service was excellent. Not 5 stars because there were some hairs in our drinks and food and because the prices were a little high. Overall a very positive experience.

The apartment was very good. Very clean, tidy and well furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and looked like it had been updated recently to a good standard. The first floor outlook was superb. Right across the bay to the islands. Having a free residents car park was ideal with just a very short walk into town. If I go back to Oban I would stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended. *****
Very good sized appartment, crisp white sheets, wonderful views and a comfy sofa to enjoy them from ! What more to say ? Alastair was a joy to deal with as was the lady at reception. All of the local restaurants and bars very close at hand too. Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed here last month and had a lovely holiday in these self catering apartments. Very clean and convenient place. Extremely well equipped.
Very cosy here. Good shower and tap with great rooms. Many plugs including one next to bed, so easy access for charging. Great view. Would recommend.

My first b+b experience. Room was spotless and was well maintained. Would highly recommend staying here if your looking for a place to stay whilst exploring Oban. Breakfast was to die for after a few too many whiskeys the night before. Central location and hosts were very attentive. Next time I'm in Oban will definitely stay here again.
Fabulous host Josephine and Robert! Location was perfect! Great communication, breakfast was yummy! Here is the little extra - we had to leave early before breakfast time and she packed us a wonderful goodie bag !!! It was awesome and so sweet! We highly recommended them and hope to visit again soon ! Thank you !!!

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

I would have given this site 5 stars as is s yearly visit practically. Years ago some 14 years been on-site for 3 to 5 days laterally and more recently once every other year. Come on guys !! Been NO upgrade to toilets or dish washing area...for 15 Years!! We are up and down the country every year various regular sites in fort William etc. Need to sort the amenities out as well as the unkempt looking log cabins which stole gab viewpoints for decades of caravans and vans alike. Love the viewpoint and area but not quite as tidy as used to be years ago..needs some TLC
We stayed 2 nights camping on the quiet back field which was huge and so everyone is spaced out offering quite a bit of peace and privacy. No view of the water but still a pleasant area. Facilities good and never got stuck in a shower queue, washing sinks never busy either. Men's toilets were not clean so we didn't get the impression anyone was attending to them every day, but I thought the women's were good. I was disappointed to see there is no recycling here (that I could tell, also no details on the pamphlet) It's a good location and we will move onto Mull for a more rugged/atmospheric camping experience next but this was a great, easy introduction for my partner who has never camped!
Lerags Glen, Kilbride, Oban PA34 4SE, UK – 01631 564501
Lovely place enjoyed our say but very bad road in, we received damage to our car from the state of the road we had to put our car in for repair on our return home. This was our forth visit but sadly our last. The damage to our car was more the the cost of the holiday.
Second visit to Colgin, secluded and scenic. Barn bar on the doorstep for good food and beverage. A friendly welcome in the hillsides.
